It was one of those bright, lightly clouded days that we take forgranten; until it rains. Me, my grandma, and my sister were sitting in the van- speaking, rather uninterestedly, on an event that had recently occured. I looked out of the window, as I usually do, as we sat there, waiting for another car to go by so we could turn.
There was a sudden impact, as our van went sliding across the road, in a circular motion.
It all smelled of smoke, and with the sudden motion I had no time to think. I was nearly mindless as to what was happening, as I heard my sister's screams fill the van. All I could think to do was wait for something- whether good or bad- to happen.
Then, after two circles, the van stopped on the side of the road. We hurried out, crying and still unaware, partially- What DID just happen?
Some people were crowding around us, one of them a UPS driver, who had witnessed the whole thing. "M'am, I saw what happened. That guy was going way too fast." he told my grandma.
